Your breath is the most immediate path back to yourself. A single breath
can shift everything. In my sessions, I use breathwork
as a practical and embodied way to regulate the nervous
system, release tension, and create more capacity in the body
and mind.

A session,
Every session is tailored to your individual needs — whether you are looking for more balance, emotional support, mental clarity, increased energy, or a deeper connection with your body.
If you are an athlete or active individual looking to optimise your performance and recovery, breath training can provide a significant advantage. Together, we can work on improving breathing efficiency, CO₂ tolerance, oxygen delivery, and nervous system regulation to support endurance, recovery, focus, and resilience.
Whether you're preparing for competition, managing training load, or looking to improve your overall wellbeing, your breath can become a valuable tool for performing at your best and recovering more effectively.

Breathe alongside others in a supportive group setting. There is something powerful about collective breath — it amplifies the experience, creates connection, and reminds us that we are not alone. Through guided breathwork, we can access deeper states of awareness, release stress and tension, reconnect with ourselves, and cultivate a greater sense of balance and wellbeing.
In addition to group breathwork journeys, I also offer workshops that combine education with experience. Together, we explore the science and mechanics of breathing, including topics such as breathing patterns, posture, nervous system regulation, stress resilience, recovery, and performance. Through practical exercises and guided practices, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your breath and learn tools you can immediately apply in daily life.
"Combining a science-based understanding of breathing with a holistic and experiential approach, these workshops offer both knowledge and direct experience."
Sessions and workshops can be tailored around different themes, including stress relief, recovery, nervous system regulation, functional breathing, postural breathing, performance, mindfulness, and overall wellbeing.
Breathwork is a conscious practice of using the breath as a tool to shift your physical, mental, and emotional state. Our breath is one of the few functions in the body that is both automatic and voluntary, which makes it a uniquely powerful bridge between your conscious mind and your nervous system. Through guided breathing techniques, you can move out of stress and reactivity, release what the body has been holding, and return to a state of greater ease and clarity.
Every session starts with a conversation — just a few minutes to check in, understand where you are that day, and set an intention if that feels relevant. From there, we move into breathwork that's chosen based on what your body and nervous system seem to need. This might be activating or deeply calming, depending on what's present. I may also offer some hands-on bodywork to support the release of physical tension. Afterward, we take time to land — so you leave feeling grounded, clear, settled, and integrated.
Not at all. You don't need to know anything about breathwork, meditation, or body-based practices to benefit. All you need is a willingness to show up and follow simple guidance. People come to sessions at every level — from complete beginners who are simply curious, to those who have been practicing for years and want to go deeper. The session adapts to you, not the other way around.
For most people, yes — breathwork is very safe. Some techniques can produce strong sensations: tingling, warmth, emotional waves, or a feeling of intensity. These are normal responses and part of how the body processes and releases. I work in a way that is informed, grounded, and attentive, and I'll always guide you through anything that comes up. If you have a specific health condition — cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, severe anxiety, or pregnancy for example — it's worth having a brief conversation before we start, just to make sure we work in a way that's right for you.
There's no fixed answer. A single session can create a real and noticeable shift — sometimes people are surprised by how much can move in one hour. That said, like any practice, the effects tend to deepen and become more lasting the more consistently you show up. Some people come once for a specific experience, others work with me over weeks or months as part of a wider process of change. In our first session we can talk about what might make sense for you.
Yes. Online sessions work surprisingly well — breathwork doesn't require physical presence to be effective. Sessions are available for individuals and small groups, and scheduling is flexible to suit different timezones and routines. If you're not based in Amsterdam or simply prefer to practice from your own space, online is a great option.
In a 1:1, everything is built around you — the techniques, the pace, the focus, the conversation before and after. It's a more intimate and personal container. Group sessions offer something different: there's a quality that emerges when people breathe together that you simply can't replicate alone. It can feel amplifying, moving, even surprisingly connected. Neither is better — they're just different experiences, and many people find value in both.
It's one of the most direct tools available for exactly this. When we're stressed or anxious, the nervous system is stuck in activation — the body thinks it's under threat. Breathwork can interrupt that pattern quickly, signaling safety to the system and activating the parasympathetic response, which is responsible for rest, digestion, and recovery. Over time, regular practice builds resilience — not just in the moment, but in how your nervous system responds to stress in general.
